The EuroFlo Industrial Pump system retains Tunnel boring machine (TBM) cool by a steady water provide. The Cross Rail challenge is an east-west rail route that passes under the town of London utilizing new twin-bore 21km tunnels.
EuroFlo pumps and the tanks are positioned at the surface; the water is pumped from there all the method down to the shaft and all alongside the tunnel up to the TBM. EuroFlo use 37 kW vertical multistage Industrial pumps for the cooling system whereas the TBM excavates by way of a significant underground part of the Cross rail venture.
