Trillium Flow Technologies is shopping for Termomeccanica Pompe SpA, the Italian engineered pump manufacturing company that serves the power, desalination, water transmission and oil and gas markets.
The two firms have signed a joint agreement that will convey the Termomeccanica Pompe, Gabbioneta Pumps and Begemann brands together beneath the Trillium umbrella in Italy.
When the deal closes, La Spezia-based Termomeccanica will focus on growing the ecological and gasoline compression sectors, where its subsidiaries TME and TMIC operate.
Trillium, a portfolio firm of global private equity investment agency First Reserve, is the former Weir Flow Control enterprise. The company is a world designer, producer and aftermarket services supplier of engineered valves and pumps used within the water and wastewater, global energy era, oil and gasoline, mining, and general course of industries.
